Matthew Monfore voluntarily chose to make Pine Ridge his home. Matthew is a Baptist preacher and missionary who chose to carry out his work on the lands of Pine Ridge.
But last July, Matthew was banned from the reservation’s lands.

Im a Christian but bad vibe on your preacher guest. Its no wonder he got ban from the reservation. I know some elderly people on Rosebud Res , and have visited several times. They know Pine Ridge people too. They are basically inprisonsed . They are surrounded by white people that hate them.. im white woman, from Texas. You should have seen the reaction i got when i took 2 indian girls to a rodeo in an all white nearby town.
Watch movie ” Thunderheart” the reservation still looks the same. The early missionaries were abusive to the children. Gave them new “christain” names. Beat them if the spoke a word in their language. I don’t think that’s a lie. The family I know from there have no reason to lie to me. They are not savages.. The eldest of my friends , Gilbert. I have a newspaper picture of him receiving a medal from Eisenhower for his service in WWll and his son’s served in Vietnam.
One as a Medic and the other one came back as a Paraplegic. I just think there’s alot of things the preacher could do to gain the Indians trust first besides telling them their sole problem is their religion. Is he related to George Custer ? I hate to quote Kamala Harris but ” we need to fix the Root cause ” . Let’s speak the truth if we’re going to have this conversation.
Sorry me again regarding Matthew Monfore. He did not make any distinction from Little Earth and Pine Ridge either.. There’s a huge difference. Pine Ridge is a true Indian Reservation in the middle of nowhere. Unlike Little Earth , a community in a large city.
Well, Jesus cannot save. Jesus couldn’t save himself. Everyone is responsible for his or her own salvation.
