Colorado Suburb Orders Residents to Evacuate Entire Apartment Complex Taken Over by Venezuelan Gang

The suburban Denver city of Aurora, Colorado ordered residents of a troubled apartment complex to leave after it was invaded by illegal alien gang members, who quickly took over the entire neighborhood, bringing drugs, violent crime, and armed break-ins along with them. Under the city’s orders, the entire apartment complex has been closed. Since the closure, city officials have admitted that the notorious Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdA) is operating in the area.

Several video clips have recently gone viral on TikTok, X, and other social media platforms showing heavily armed Venezuelan gang members committing violent crimes in Aurora, Colorado, including at the now-closed apartment complex. In one video, a group of at least four armed men are seen preparing to raid an apartment unit. In another, witnesses specifically label a group of criminals as “Venezuelans” and say that they’re “taking over.”

The closed apartment complex, which reportedly housed a large number of illegal aliens both inside and outside of the TdA gang, is one of numerous neighborhoods in the Denver area to fall to illegal alien crime, thanks to Colorado’s sanctuary state policies and the even more extreme sanctuary city policies of nearby Denver.

“We currently have entire [apartment] complexes under gang control – complexes where staff have been beaten up, they’ve been threatened, their families have been threatened [and] complexes where there are no staff left on the property. These complexes are being run by this Tren de Aragua gang,” Danielle Jurinsky, an Aurora City Councilwoman, told the media.

“They start brokering apartments themselves when someone leaves out of fear or whatever,” she went on. “They go in and take pictures of the apartment themselves. Then, I’ve been told, within hours, a Venezuelan family moves in.”

Furthermore, in an interview with Fox News, Aurora Mayor Mike Coffman confirmed that “several buildings” in his city have “fallen to these Venezuelan gangs.”

But despite the statements of Councilwoman Jurinsky and Mayor Coffman, as well as widely available video footage of armed gang members storming apartments in Aurora, Colorado’s Democrat Governor, Jared Polis, is denying that there’s a problem, telling the New York Post that “this purported invasion is largely a feature of Danielle Jurinsky’s imagination.”

Additionally, Aurora and Denver police have come out in denial of the illegal alien crime wave, despite the evidence, likely due to their failure to contain it. In a statement released this week, Aurora Police admitted that Venezuelan TdA gang members are operating in the area, but minimized their activities as being “isolated.”

Though local authorities open borders Governor Jared Polis is trying to keep a tight lid on the sanctuary city savagery of the Denver area, TikTok may have missed the memo, as the platform’s search highlights feature credited the Aurora apartment closure to “a takeover by members of Kamala Harris’s Venezuelan migrant gang” that “resulted in hundreds of families being forced to vacate the building.”

As Joe Biden’s Vice President and “Border Czar,” Kamala Harris has overseen the influx of at least 10 million illegal aliens into the United States. As the Attorney General of California, she helped craft sanctuary city policies that directly led to the deaths of American citizens, going as far as to work with local law enforcement to foil ICE deportations of illegal alien convicted felons.
